Project Overview
St Dunstan’s College is delivering a major redevelopment including a Junior School, a new STEM Block and a Sixth Form Centre. The scheme sits adjacent to the historic Headmaster’s House and is connected via a glass atrium.
We managed the project from RIBA Stage 1–6.
Budget Management & Design Development
The approved design exceeded the College’s loan-backed budget by £4m. We delivered a targeted value engineering process, simplifying the atrium, switching to brick slips and phasing external works — without compromising architectural quality.
Outcome
Completed in July 2021, the development provides modern learning environments, a state-of-the-art STEM centre and a vibrant Sixth Form hub with university-style study space.
